My Role with Students and Residents at Long School of Medicine

I teach MS1’s the role of kidneys in water and salt regulation and moderate small-group discussions during their renal month. I precept two medical students each year under the longitudinal preceptorship program. I give two lectures to MS3’s during their Medicine Clerkship and work with MS4’s in hospital setting during their renal electives. I mentor any medical student/s who approach/es me for clinical research project.

Three Fun Facts About Me

  1. Sunday is my favorite day of the week due to NFL.
  2. I have been on City Diwali stage many times to perform Indian classical or folk dance.
  3. I love listening to Western classical music while working on a grant or manuscript.
